Dance Together Festival

Katya Kuznetsova and Kate Nankervis co-founded the Dance Together Festival in 2019 to animate Amos Waites Park with free open-air dance workshops,  performances and live music. Celebrating its 5th year in 2023,  dancing in Mimico Square has become a celebrated summer community event, bridging diverse cultural backgrounds and generations. An Ontario Culture Days People’s Choice in 2021, the project is supported by Toronto Arts Foundation’s Arts in Park, Mimico BIA, Lakeshore Arts and Ontario Culture Days.
